Cannondale RZ 140 3. The all-mountain ride for the everyman. The RZ One Forty alloy is built from 6061 aluminum, and has the BB30 system in 2010. The 3Z model comes equipped with ISCG tabs to run the HammerSchmidt system.

BACKBONE:
The RZ One Forty introduced new metal forming technology to the industry. The one-piece seat tube, BB shell and lower pivot housing are three-dimensionally forged for the ultimate in strength and better power transfer. No welds. No weak points.

Easy climbing on a bike with 140mm of suspension? They said it couldn’t be done. But that was before the RZ One Forty -- perfect power transfer from the BB30 and the ISCG tabs (for the innovative HammerSchmidt™ system) make molehills out of mountains.

EXCELLENT TRACKING:
Nobody likes riding flexy bikes with a wandering rear wheel. That’s why the swingarm on the RZ One Forty uses an oversized bridge that maximizes torsional stiffness for better control. Asymmetric chain stays also transfer pedaling forces for the ultimate power output.
