Felt DA - Di2. Felt utilized hours of wind tunnel research for their super-fast DA Di2, and the results show in a peerless machine that has won Olympic Golds and the team time trial at the Giro d'Italia. The nano-carbon frame, fork and aluminum stem were developed as a unit and feature an integrated design for incredible aerodynamics and steering stiffness. Even the cables are kept out of the wind thanks to internal routing that enters the frame just behind the stem. Further brilliant aero touches include the chainstay-mounted brake, aero seatpost, horizontal rear dropouts and the rear wheel cutout. The amazing technology continues on, Shimano's revolutionary Dura-Ace Di2 electronic shifting system that enables you to shift from the extensions or the base bar with the mere touch of a button. Also, insanely-fast Zipp deep-dish carbon wheels and feathery nano-carbon aero bars keep the speed up and the weight down. See you on the podium.
Felt's Modular Monocoque Construction method begins by molding the front triangle, seatstays and chainstays as individual pieces, allowing each component to be manufactured specifically for its individual requirements. The pieces are then fused together with completely integrated joints that offer superior strength, durability and a refined look. Also, different shapes, tube thicknesses and diameters are used throughout to maximize stiffness where needed, minimize overall weight and damp vibrations for an awesome ride.
Felt's Ultra Hybrid Carbon (UHC) with nano technology is an advanced, proprietary blend of ultra-high-modulus carbon fibers that are placed and oriented to maximize stiffness, lightness and compliance. Nano technology is added to the mix for even more strength and stiffness with practically zero increase in weight.
