Felt ZW5. It's here: a full-carbon road bike tailor-made for you! Felt's ZW5 boasts their featherweight high-modulus carbon frame and fork for outstanding pedaling efficiency, brilliant handling and a super-smooth ride you'll love. This sweet women's-specific ride rolls on Alex/Felt wheels that spin up to speed effortlessly, while the Shimano 105 20-speed drivetrain with FSA compact crankset provides the ideal gearing for the road's ups and downs. And, this road rocket is spec'd with women's-specific features for a custom fit, like short-reach brake levers, shallow-drop handlebars and an anatomic seat for superb comfort.
Felt's Modular Monocoque Construction method begins by molding the front triangle, seatstays and chainstays as individual pieces, allowing each component to be manufactured specifically for its individual requirements. The pieces are then fused together with completely integrated joints that offer superior strength, durability and a refined look. Also, different shapes, tube thicknesses and diameters are used throughout to maximize stiffness where needed, minimize overall weight and damp vibrations for an awesome ride.
With a High Modulus carbon fiber frame, the ZW5 has incredible torsional stiffness for quick acceleration and razor-sharp handling. At the same time, this custom blend of frame materials achieves vibration damping for a silky smooth ride. And reliable Shimano 105 shifting helps you fly up hills and speed through the flats.
